Meet Bre

Bre Kort grew up in a small suburb called Batavia just outside of Chicago. She has been pursuing art since a very young age, her primary inspiration has always been wildlife conservation. She vacationed with her father to Kentucky in 2013, and quickly decided the University of Kentucky would be the perfect fit for her. She attended the University of Kentucky in 2014, and graduated in 2018, with degrees in Art Studio and Art Education. Bre fell in love with the southern culture in Kentucky and decided to continue to reside in Lexington after her college education. During the pandemic, she pursued her dream of being a high school art teacher at Woodford County High School. Her freelance art career took off the following winter.

Although the decision was difficult, she decided to leave teaching and pursue a full-time freelance art career. Her current work is focused on wildlife conservation, equestrian, and landscape. She works toward bringing more awareness to overlooked endangered species, emphasizing their fascinating, and exotic qualities.
